Attorney Luker’s 25 –year career has focused exclusively on all areas of risk management including assessing operational corporate risk, implementing mitigation strategies, training emergency operation plan end-users, training on various corporate initiatives, assessing internal controls. Along with her law degree she possesses significant experience in public accounting, finance and taxation. She is NIMS certified and assisted with original development of Petrone Risk operational risk management strategy in 2005. After serving as a director/manager for national public accounting firm and controller/general counsel for a government-funded not-for-profit agency supporting children’s mental health, she returned to Petrone Risk in 2016. She serves on the Board of Directors of a Property and Casualty for-profit company and Neighborworks America not-for-profit entity. Attorney Luker has assessed risk and prepared mitigation strategies at Pettrone Risk’s athletic organizations, municipalities, colleges and universities, community-based not-for-profit and for-profit clients.

She currently focuses her efforts representing the firm’s municipal, governmental, not-for-profit and for profit clients in corporate litigation, risk management analysis, officer and director litigation, employment law, employee benefits analysis, employee handbooks, contract law and other matters of general corporate compliance. She has developed employee training in the areas of Preventing Sexual Discrimination, Preventing Workplace Violence, Creating a Safety Committee and Avoiding 9-1-1 Center Liability and trained hundreds of employees on these matters.

She is an attorney admitted to New York State Bar and Massachusetts Bar. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Oneida County Bar Association, and New York Society of CPAs. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors Preferred Mutual Insurance Company and its Audit Committee and HomeOwnership Center, a Neighborworks America affiliate.
