Petrone Risk’s approach to enterprise risk management is to be applauded. Petrone Risk approached our initiative as if a long time employee of Northern Safety. Much time, attention and detail was devoted to learning the nuances of the business thus making the resulting risk management analysis particularly meaningful. I was most impressed by Petrone Risk’s ability to capture the risk profile of the organization which was developed through employee interaction and the intense review of Northern Safety’s documentation and policy and procedure. Finally, the thorough analysis Petrone Risk completed with respect to Northern Safety’s contractual relationships has had and continues to have far reaching positive effects.

Petrone Risk are an integral part of the Oneida County team. Their collaborative approach to risk management is ideal for county organizations. Oneida County has opted for a department by department approach to the risk management initiative. At times Petrone Risk is focused on one particular department but when the need arises, and risks become critical, Petrone Risk at times finds themselves immersed in several different departments at any given time. With Petrone Risk’s assistance Oneida County has been successful in mitigating critical risks which were present at the Oneida County Airport, the 911 Call center and Mohawk Valley Community College, just to name a few.
